Floral artistry celebrating Mother’s Day
Hana Atelier is a floral service that provides customized bouquets and arrangements.
Born out of monetary necessity, and starting out as a simple hobby, it has now grown into a brand that caters not only to personalized bouquets, but as well as larger scale styling and set design. Sole owner Hannah Vailoces’ whole philosophy is centered on the significance of narratives- and so we made it a point to give focus on hers.

This feature film was a partnership that showcased her professional process and routine as a florist, all while being a celebration of Mother’s Day. The idea was to capture how a day of operation goes for Hana Atelier, except this time Ms. Hannah with the team of Araw One arranged bouquets to be given away for free to mothers they encounter.
The overall flow of the video as well as the final shotlist were all conceptualized after a number of alignment meetings with Ms. Hannah, just so that the team had a grasp of her actual routine. Shoot locations as well were all planned and chosen in alignment with this, and even scheduling was made to mimic her usual process as closely as possible.
The whole premise was on how narratives are exactly what unites and differentiates all of us- and how each one is just as worth celebrating regardless. In moments that matter, it has become a universal gesture to offer flowers as means of showing thanks, appreciation, and adoration. And for Ms. Hannah, bouquets are an amalgamation of the beauty and commemoration of life. In their temporality, flowers serve as a reminder that time is always fleeting, which is why moments should be cherished as they come.

In celebrating life, it felt only appropriate as well to commemorate the only people that can actually give life- mom’s.
It is with this intent that this partnership was formed in time for the celebration of Mother’s Day. Both parties wanted to find a way to pay tribute to women that shape the lives of those around them, in a way that encapsulates how both flowers and mothers are a symbol of life each in their own right. And it is through this as well that Hana Atelier and Araw One came to celebrate how narratives inject itself into the things that we create and do.
